Background

The goal of this project was to create a new stainless steel foaming soap dispenser following the design language of OXO’s existing steel soap dispenser. I began this project as a supporting engineer, focused on testing and evaluating the performance of foaming pumps from various suppliers. At the tail end of the project, I owned the CAD for our final pre-tooling machined prototype as well as the final tooling CAD.

This project involved overmolding, ultrasonic welding, bayonets, radial seals, plug seals, and permanent snaps.
